Every listed company files who runs it — each officer's gender, title, tenure and whether they are the owner. Roll it up by sector and the boardroom has a shape: where women reach the table, where the founder still runs the firm, and how long the chief executive lasts.
- What it is — for each sector, the share of officers who are women, the share of companies still owner-led, the median CEO tenure and the median officer age.
- Why trust it — every figure is from a company's own annual filing of its officers, not a survey or a reconstruction.
- How big — 35,004 officers across the listed market, 7.2% of them women.
- The honest caveat — the owner flag is missing from many filings, so the owner-led share is a floor, marked with a +.

① The boardroom, by sector
Health care and finance seat the most women; heavy industry and IT the fewest. Owner-led firms cluster in health care and consumer; finance is the most professionally run.

Health care seats women in one board seat in ten; industrials and IT closer to one in twenty. Finance, the most professionally managed, is the least owner-led — and its CEOs turn over fastest, a median three years against six in IT.
